Setting forth the trend that is sweeping through NYFW this season, Victoria Beckham presented her SS18 collection which can best be summed up by the designer’s quote the day before: “Delicacy can be strong.” The latest collection marks the latest evolution in Beckham’s interpretation of femininity, trading in traditional hourglass dresses and stilettos for tailored, more comfortable pieces. Prominent in in the collection are tapered suit trousers, long tailored skirts and “pajama” sets, in all shapes, prints and colours. The colour scheme of the collection emphasises the delicacy she wishes to convey through the collection and individual pieces with soft, creamy colours and classic pastelle tones at the forefront.
