Azzurro Due is proud to be one of the exclusive boutiques in Europe to curate the latest collection of Vetements.
Azzurro Due is proud to have again the most talked-about label in fashion: Zurich-based fashion brand Vetements. The name Vetements reflects its original philosophy as having no sub or supra identity. Only made to be worn.
Led by the Georgian fashion designer Demna Gvasalia, alongside with his brother Guram. The wide range of menswear and womenswear is inspired by everyday fashion and regular people. Influenced by his peer Martin Margiela, Gvasalia worked as head designer for Louis Vuitton for 2 years before launching his own label. In 2022 Guram Gvasalia was made creative director.
Vetements got noticed showing their Fall/Winter 2015 collection in Le Dépôt, a Parisian sex club. The brand broke through to the mainstream with its Spring/Summer collection in 2016. A mixture of shirts, sweats, outerwear and dresses with morphed shapes, extended sleeves, oversized cuts and modified construction.
The brand is known for casting its models from Instagram and other unusual places. This collective crafts streetwear-inspired, gender-fluid styles that challenge tradition with their focus on deconstructed forms and volumes. Vetements seeks the controversy and likes stir up the conversation in the fashion world with its unorthodox approach to high fashion.
Their big hit: the modified yellow DHL T-shirt, modelled on the runway by Russian fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy.
Notable musicians and influences adorned Vetements’ clothing: Kendal Jenner, Rihanna, Kanye West, Kendal Jenner, Rita Ora and even Celine Dion.
