Acne Studios (Ambition to Create Novel Expression) is a Stockholm-based label that is wide considered one of the industry’s most treasured tastemakers.

Initially founded in 1996 as a demin brand by a creative collective run by co-founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson. His love for art, architecture, and street culture form an inspiration for Acne Studios.

In 1997 Acne Studios produced 100 pairs of jeans that caught the attention of Vogue Paris. The label's is known for its perfectly cut jeans and tailored separates.

Jonny Johansson's signature juxtaposed design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and a diverse mix of materials and custom-developed fabrics, define the Acne collections.
