Miles Ladin’s New Photo Exhibit Chronicles 20 Years of Glamorous Celebrity Sightings.
New York Fashion Week, the twice-yearly showcase of the most innovative, trend-setting pieces that revered designers like Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors work hard to debut, is always a highly anticipated event. And while the arrival of new clothing is enough to generate excitment, it’s the buzzing energy of the front row that continuously makes headlines. Thanks to photographer Miles Ladin’s new exhibition inside Connecticut College’s Cummings Art Center galleries, The Spectacle of Fashion, you don’t have to be an A-list star to get a glimpse of the action that occurs past the velvet rope. Now on display through Dec. 11, Ladin, an alumnus of the college, has pieced together an unrivaled collection of photographers that glamorously chronicle the scene inside NYFW and its surrounding, guest list-only parties. The former New York Times and WWD photographer curated a selection of images from the past 20 years that showcase some of the celebrities who regularly attend the high-profile events.
