An exhibition of work by fashion and shoe designer Christian Louboutin is set to open from February 25 to July 26 in Paris’ Palais de la Porte Dorée.
The show will explore several decades of Louboutin’s work, the designer’s most iconic creations as well as his sources of inspiration. It’s no coincidence that the exhibition will take place at the Palais de la Porte Dorée. The Art Déco building is a special place for Louboutin – who grew up in a neighbourhood alongside the exhibition hall.
The exhibition will be curated by Oliver Gabet – director of Paris’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs – will highlight Louboutin’s affection for craftsmanship and the creative professions, and highlight some of his exclusive collaborations outside of fashion.
Christian Louboutin: L’Exposition runs February 25 to July 26, 2020, at Palais de la Porte Dorée, Paris, France.
