Giunia

GIUNIA is a visual journal documenting stories through artisanal jewellery and leather accessories. Founded by designer and art director Giunia Guerrera in June 2024, the eponymous brand takes its name from the Latin word for June.

The inspiration behind the collections flows from a spontaneous collage of various sources and contexts, clashing or interacting. Everyday objects that shape our aesthetics, and memories intertwine with new visions, and analogies arise from family heirlooms or objects discovered during travels or market visits, which are reimagined and repurposed. Nature stands as a dominant muse, interconnecting all the diverse influences through its imperfect, unfinished, and raw essence. 

Crafted by hand with ancestral arts, such as lox wax casting, and featuring natural stones Giunia's jewellery is made of sterling silver 925 and bronze. Thee jewel bags and belts are created from high-quality upcycled leather and adorned with hammered hardware. Meticulously made in Naples, Italy, the founder’s hometown, and designed in Amsterdam.

Because of the handmade nature of our products, we have limited quantities available. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and imperfections are a celebration of the craftsmanship, adding value to it.
