Parisian designer Simon Porte Jacquemus released his FW17 imagery yesterday. In contrast to what most, or rather all other campaigns have contained; clothes, people or people wearing clothes, Jacquemus has instead chosen to feature nude people locked in passionate embrace. The fully black and white campaign was shot by David Luraschi and does not show any of the designs from the collection, but do feature the location that the collection was inspired by as a backdrop. Jacquemus noted on the imagery, shot in Provençal, France: “I would like to create a timeless image of two people kissing themselves without clothes, accessories only their bodies on a chair under a parasol”. Earlier, Jacquemus announced that his SS18 would debut during PFW on September 25th, instead of the 26th.
