The new documentary on Manolo Blahnik, “Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards”, is set for release on September 29th. The documentary was directed by Michael Roberts and features Blahnik himself as the narrator. It will show fans of the background of Blahnik’s now iconic brand, from his childhood fixation with shoes and lizards, all the way through his career spanning over 40 years. Those making an appearance to profess the influence Blahnik has had on the world of fashion and design include Anna Wintour, André Leon Talley, Rihanna and Naomi Campbell.
