20 Dec Gucci Launches Best Campaign Yet For SS18
First things first: collection-wise it is fair to say that Alessandro Michele has just about played-out the whole retro vibe he set forth when he started his tenure at Gucci. Take a look in any Gucci retail location and it is hard to tell whether your in a market stall in the center of Amsterdam, one of many Zara locations throughout Europe or a high-end retailer.
That being said, in terms of campaigns and collaborations, Michele seems to be on point every time. The latest comes on the form of the SS18 campaign which was done in collaboration with Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal. The campaign is presented as actual works of art which portray a fantasy world ruled by cherubs, mermaids and princesses. For sure conveying the fantasy world that all campaigns look to portray, this is by far one of the best attempts in recent years.
