Another one of modern day fashion’s icons will be immortalised on the big screen. “The Gospel According to André”, set around none other than Vogue Editor At Large André Leon Talley, will premiere next month at the Toronto Film Festival with a North American release slated for early 2018. The film, featuring interviews with prominents like Valentino, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford, was directed by Kate Novack who stated on the project: “André has been an unmissable fixture in the front row of fashion for as long as I can remember, but the story of how he got there has never really been told in an intimate way”. Exciting feature about the project is that it will feature archival footage of the beginning of Talley’s career and his involvement with Andy Warhol’s Factory.
