Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller is riding the wave of success; she just presented a stellar couture collection and dressed Meghan Markle for the royal wedding. It just doesn’t get any better than that. Now, she is presenting us with a Pre-Spring 2019 collection that is truly hers and innovative to say the least.
Perhaps a true de to Hubert de Givenchy, Waight Keller traveled to Japan (de Givenchy’s favourite country) to gather some inspiration and came back with tons of it. It can be found in the traditional Japanese motifs throughout the collection and dresses that fold and glide like origami.
Other key features in the collection include slouchy-yet-elegant boots, notes of faux fur and oversized zip up jumpers. The perfect balance of elegance and comfort so to speak.
