Maison Margiela To Lift The Veil On Its Creative Process

Perhaps considered one of the most reclusive fashion houses in the world, Maison Margiela, currently fronted by John Galliano, is set to launch a new initiative which will give us a rare glimpse into its creative process. Through Instagram Stories, the house will launch a series with the hashtag #MaisonMargielaInsideOut during the womenswear show, scheduled for the 27th of September. What can we expect you may wonder. Well, according to reports, there will be a film directed by Sean Frank, that will be shot in the design studios in the 24 hours leading up to the ready-to-wear display. Furhtermore, the series is set to highlight Margiela’s new handbag which will make its debut on the runway tomorrow. All other instalments of the series will be linked to themes regarding the RTW division. On the initiative, Margiela’s CEO Riccardo Bellini noted:  “Strategically, we want to reinforce the link in messaging between our highly successful Artisanal show and prêt-à-porter while being innovative and true to the anonymity and enigmatic quality of our house.” Image via Style.com.
