Marc Jacobs SS18

NYFW is in full swing and one of the highlights so far has for sure been Marc Jacobs’ presentation from last night. The collection was described by the designer himself as “reimagining of seasons past somewhere beyond the urban landscape of New York City.” Whatever you want to call it, it sure was impressive. It should be stated that from our point of view, there was little coherence to be found in the collection, other than the overall lack of it. Perhaps that is what is most fascinating about it. With its abundance of Crayola colours, sequins and florals, it looked like what summer should feel like. Interesting additions to the whole were headdresses and fanny packs that made the collection complete. Check out the full show below.   Video via Youtube, Image via Vogue.
