New brand: acne studios

Acne Studios is a Stockholm-based fashion house with a multidisciplinary approach. Through founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interest in photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture, an alternative path has been found, turning Acne Studios into a well-respected creator of ready-to-wear, magazines, furniture, books and exhibitions. Now available at Azzurro Due Amsterdam.

The collections are defined by Jonny Johansson’s signature juxtaposing design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and an eclectic use of materials and custom-developed fabrics. The collections cover men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories and denim.


Acne Studios believe that their main responsibility is to create desirable items that their consumers value and can enjoy for a long time. As a result, the starting point of their sustainability ambition is that they want to be proud of their products – how they look, their quality and how they are made and used.

Acne Studios sustainability ambition is divided in three key areas ‘Products’, ‘Suppliers’ and ‘Operations’. In our annual sustainability report they describe actions, targets and results on these three areas.
