Wen it comes to charity initiatives, Random Acts Of Kindness is up there with the chicest of them. Comprising a catalogue of original photographs donated by a selection of the world’s finest fashion photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier, Alasdair McLellan, Tim Walker, Corinne Day and Juergen Teller (see his Saskia No.4, Hydra, Greece above) to name only a few, it takes the form of exhibition, sale and silent auction in aid of Cancer Research UK. Spearheaded by Vogue bookings editor Rosie Vogel and her husband, photographer Matthew Eades, the exhibition opens today, December 11 and runs until December 20 at London’s The Lion and The Fox Gallery. “Rosie and Matthew would like to thank all of the wonderful artists who have donated their work to this important cause,” reads the exhibition catalogue. “Unfortunately, cancer touches all too many lives, and we hope that we can in some way contribute to the fight against it by working with Cancer Research UK.” Those interested in making a purchase, viewing the full catalogue and receiving pricing information should contact rosie.vogel@condenast.co.uk, while to make a donation visit Justgiving.com/random-acts-ofkindness.
