Stella McCartney has released a new film called The Great Newman, starring Stanley Weber. The plot is centered around a magician pursuing acknowledgement from an owner of a Chinese restaurant. It was directed by Suzie Q and Leo Siboni, whom you may know from their work for Givenchy and Saint Laurent campaigns and even Yung Lean music videos.
On the project, the creators noted: “[we] always loved the aesthetics of magic; the vintage side to it and also the surrealism involved as well as the proximity with the art of cinema. Playing with the idea of making the audience ‘believe’ and mixing that with a bit of comedy already present in the brand was a great challenge!”
