Over 300 of the artist Frida Kahlo’s possessions were locked in the bathroom of her Mexico City House following her death and remained unseen for 50 years. Scuffed heeled boots and delicately frilled smocks will prompt an softer view of a woman renowned for her aggressive femininity. Miyako’s shots of vibrant tricolour satins and Rebozo shawls are also great examples of Traditional Mexican dress.
