Vivienne Westwood Celebrates Over 20 Years Of Collaborations With Juergen Teller In New Exhibition

The legendary trio that is Vivienne Westwood, Andreas Kronthaler and Juergen Teller have been collaborating on projects since the nineties and in doing so have amassed an amazing arsenal of powerful imagery. In order to make all of this imagery available to the public, the trio will be releasing a new photo book. In celebration of the book, Westwood will also turn her NYC flagship store, all six stories of it, into an exhibition space during NYFW. Visitors will be able to view a mix of pivotal campaigns, portraits & muses, political satire, editorials and art projects the trio have produced over the past twenty years. In addition to imagery, the exhibition will also host archive pieces and looks which will only to enhance the experience. On her working relationship with Juergen Teller over the years, Westwood stated: “Juergen’s got something very rare, he’s got really good taste, and more than anything that makes him good at his work. Juergen somehow always manages to get the picture, he gets to the route of the matter every time when he takes a photograph.” The exhibition, entitled, “Vivienne Westwood, Andreas Kronthaler & Juergen Teller” will be on from September – November at the Vivienne Westwood flagship store on 14 East 55th Street, New York 10022.
