1980’s chic to the highest degree! Those are the words that best sum up Marc Jacobs’ FW18 collection, presented in New York last night. What makes the collection so interesting was the fact that is designed around over-exaggerated proportions, the likes of which we would see back in the day presented by the greats like Thierry Mugler or Emmanuel Ungaro. Could this mean that bold shoulders, the big bow belts, the baggy pleated trousers could be coming back for real? We certainly hope so!
