Legendary art director, stylist and accessories designer Judy Blame has died at the tender age of 58. Blame made his name in the 1980’s where, along with Boy George and the like, the introduced a new, punk-inspired aesthetic in the London scene. Throughout the years, he lent his artistic vision to magazines like iD and The Face. He also frequently collaborated with designers like Rei Kawakubo, Kim Jones and John Galliano.
Later on in his life, he was quoted saying: “After years of troublemaking, drug-taking and experimenting with every part of my life, it seems the most radical thing you can do today is to care for yourself and other people!”
