On her presentation yesterday morning, held in a beautiful garden on the Upper East side, Tory Burch noted: “Bold, fearless, flamboyant, David Hicks redefined interiors. His fearless and witty take on colour and print have made a lasting impression on his work and on me. For Spring/Summer 2018 we are honoured to work with the legendary designer’s library”. The collection she showed can best be described as a kaftan overdose, which makes it perfect for holidays or a permanent holiday feeling with almost all the pieces featuring the pull-it-on ease of a poolside coverup. We can go on endlessly about the collection and its pieces’ designs being based in Hick’s use of flooring, wall coverings, and upholstery, but just check out the full show below.
