Are you tired of your Hermès Carré? You know, the one that took over two years to make and contains over 36 layers of paint that are brought on none before the other with dry-times of up to a month in between each later? Yes, that one. Well in case you are, Hermès have the perfect solution for you: customise it! This week, the French luxury brand launched their Hermèsmatic, which is basically a Hermès-orange laundromat where those bored of their Carré can get it dip-dyed in five different colours. The good bit of news is that, so long as your scarf is 100% authentic, the service is also 100% free. It should be noted that scarves that were not produced by Hermès won’t habe the chance at an upgrade. Also, to keep you busy while you wait on your custom scarf, the brand also have a small team of stylists on hand to talk you through the many ways in which you can go about wearing your newly customised Carré. The new concept is located in Manchester (of all places), at 31 King Street to be exact. Image via 10 Magazine.
