Kering, parent company of brands like Balenciaga, Saint Laurent and Gucci is opening its Paris headquarters to the public this month. The open house is set to take place during the 16th and 17th of September and will allow visitors to take a tour of the 17th century building through a VR tour. The tour, developed by Timescope in partnership with various historians will focus on the building’s role as a hospital over a century ago. In addition, visitors will be able to view couture pieces designed by Cristobal Balenciaga. The building’s chapel will host an exhibit of contemporary art from the Pinault Collection, which features works by Seung-Taek Lee, Chen Zhen and David Hammons. According to Kering’s CEO, François-Henri Pinault, the exhibit represents “heritage and creation”. So if you happen to be in the city of lights next weekend, make sure to stop by the exhibit.
