Today is the day that we get the chance to see the world through Raf Simons’ eyes… so to speak. His first collection of eyewear for Calvin Klein was released today and we can say that it’s a strong continuation of his Americana vision for Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans. The almost nerdy (read: cool) frames feature high intensity titanium, carved crystal acetate and windowed bridges and in some cases take us back to be music videos of old, even those from the 90’s.
The campaign celebrating the release is a continuation of the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Autumn/ Winter 2018 campaign’s barn setting and was shot, of course, by Willy Vanderperre.
